Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the Vida VX2 electric scooter in India, introducing a new category in electric mobility called the “Evooter.” Combining sustainability, smart features, and practical design, the Vida VX2 aims to offer a seamless urban commuting experience. The scooter is available in two variants with different battery options and pricing.
Battery Options and Range
The Vida VX2 comes with two battery options to suit different commuting needs. The Vida VX2 Go is equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 92 km on a single charge. For longer distances, the Vida VX2 Plus comes with a 3.4 kWh battery, capable of delivering up to 142 km per charge.
Both variants support fast charging, allowing the battery to reach 80 percent capacity in just 60 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime for daily riders.
Innovative Features
Hero has designed the Vida VX2 with smart technology to enhance the user experience and safety. The scooter offers remote immobilization and cloud connectivity, which adds a layer of security for owners.
The Vida VX2 Plus features a 4.3-inch TFT display, while the Vida VX2 Go comes with a 4.3-inch LCD screen. Both models support smartphone integration, providing real-time ride statistics, telemetry, and firmware updates over the air (FOTA). These features make the scooter highly connected and convenient for daily use.
Price and Variants
The Vida VX2 is available in two variants:
- Vida VX2 Go: Rs 59,490 (ex-showroom with BaaS)
- Vida VX2 Plus: Rs 64,990 (ex-showroom with BaaS)
Without the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan, the prices are Rs 99,490 and Rs 64,990, respectively. The BaaS plan allows riders to pay a nominal fee starting from Rs 0.96 per km, making it more affordable for regular users.
